VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON THERAPY FOR PEOPLE IN RECOVERY IN TEXAS

Personalized Therapy for Recovery Journeys

Recovery is more than stopping a behavior—it’s learning how to live differently. Whether you’re newly sober, years into your journey, or loving someone who’s struggling, this space is here to support you.

Therapy can help you untangle what’s underneath and move forward with clarity, self-trust, and compassion.

Recovery is deeply personal—no two journeys look the same.

Whether you’re newly sober, working to maintain long-term recovery, or supporting someone you love through substance abuse, you deserve a space to process everything that comes with it.

As someone in recovery myself who also knows what it’s like to love someone who’s struggling, I am here to meet you with compassion, honesty, and no judgment.

This work isn’t about perfection—it’s about growth, self-understanding, and learning how to care for yourself in a whole new way. In counseling, we’ll explore what’s underneath the patterns, how past dynamics might still be showing up, and how you can build a more grounded, authentic life—whether that’s in your own sobriety or in how you take care of yourself while someone is struggling. There’s support here, and it’s built for you.

TEXAS THERAPIST FOR RECOVERY SUPPORT

The work of recovery never truly ends.

I’ve worked with adults in both residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment settings, and I know that the real work of recovery often begins after those programs end.

When the structure fades and everyday life returns, it’s normal to feel unsteady, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to keep moving forward. That’s where ongoing therapy can make a difference.

Whether you’re transitioning out of formal treatment or years into your recovery, I provide a space where you can continue the work with honesty, support, spirituality, and structure.

You’ve already taken big steps—this is where you keep going.

“I have come to believe that caring for myself is not self-indulgent. Caring for myself is an act of survival.”

– Audre Lord

When we work together, your recovery journey—whether your own or as a loved one—is honored as completely your own.

YOUR TEXAS RECOVERY THERAPIST

Through recovery work & relationship repair

We’ll begin by exploring what’s bringing you in and where you feel stuck. From there, we’ll look at the emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and core beliefs that may still be shaping your day-to-day life. Together, we’ll build insight, coping tools, and a deeper connection to your values and boundaries.

If you’re supporting someone with substance abuse, we’ll also focus on untangling boundary issues, navigating grief or anger, and finding your way back to yourself

You can expect a mix of reflection and grounded support as you move toward healing—and not just staying afloat, but living more fully.

I can help you…

Have questions about starting therapy or what recovery support might look like?

This section offers answers to common questions, helpful resources, and guidance on what to expect as you begin your journey.

  • Therapy with me is collaborative, and tailored to you.

With experience in both residential and outpatient treatment settings—and as someone in recovery myself—I bring clinical skill and lived understanding to this work.

We will first complete an intake session where I can get all of the information I can in order to help you.

We’ll explore your story, your patterns, and your goals—at a pace that feels safe and grounded. Some sessions might focus on building insight, others on practical tools, but all of it is centered on helping you reconnect with yourself.

Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that reflects your goals, values, and needs. I’m here to support, guide, and challenge you, but the growth belongs to you. We will schedule an intake session, and then find a time that works for you so we can begin your healing journey.

  • If it becomes clear that you need a higher level of care, such as intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), partial hospitalization treatment (PHP), or inpatient treatment, I’ll help you find the right resources. We’ll work together to determine what you need and what will work for you.

  • Yes, with a few exceptions. What you share in therapy stays between us, unless there’s a legal or safety concern. I’ll always talk through any limits of confidentiality with you during our intake session.

  • I’m happy to help you find a local or virtual 12-step group that fits your needs—whether that’s AA, NA, Al-Anon, or others. You can also visit aa.org,na.org, and al-anon.org to find meetings near you.
